I would recommend at least 3 weeks in advance of your targeted shoot date. This is to give us time to plan your session and secure any locations that may require a reservation/fee or permits.
How early should I book my shoot?
Of course! My experience on commercial shoots has given me a great eye for what works on camera and I can provide you with guidance in picking the best outfits for your shoot. Love a mirror selfie!
We will explore your outfit and accessory selections during our pre-shoot consultation. And if you’re looking for a whole wardrobe refresh, I work with several stylists that can jump in and help!
Can you help me pick my outfits?
Just like everything else, I’ve got you covered! I only work with hair and makeup artists that have years of experience working on tv commercials, magazine shoots, weddings etc. They have experience in all different styles so they know exactly how to make you look your very best. They will also consult you on the day about how you like to wear your hair and what colours you prefer for your makeup.
And before your shoot, we’ll make sure your artist has a photo of you and any requests you might have.
What about hair and makeup?
Stage fright after gallery delivery is a real thing! It can be super overwhelming to suddenly have dozens of images to choose from. But don’t worry, I’ve got your back.
During our pre-shoot strategy session, we’ll identify the areas where you need fresh photos. And in our post-shoot strategy call, I’ll talk through your gallery and the best shots to meet your needs.
What if I get my photos and I don’t know how to use them?

Location hire isn’t included, but I can recommend some great locations that are affordable or even free. It will all depend on what you are trying to achieve.
Absolutely! We take great care in editing all of your final selections to make sure they look their absolute best. This could involve adjusting exposure, contrast, colour, shadows, highlights, and even minor issues like loose skin, small blemishes, or lint on your clothing.
Our editing process is all about enhancing your natural beauty. We truly believe that you are beautiful just the way you are, and we want your potential clients to see the real, authentic you! Therefore, we won't be altering your face, body shape, hair or removing any wrinkles.
Do you photoshop my images?
Absolutely! I understand that when running a small business, you may be juggling many commitments.
When you book, you will have the option to pay in instalments, and we can set that up for you.
Please note, that your first instalment is required to lock in your photoshoot and start the planning process. But the rest can be paid off while you’re enjoying and using your images!
Can I pay in instalments?
Absolutely. As a commercial photographer, I have trained and worked with all different types of products.
Depending on your requirements, we might be able to include them during your personal branding shoot. Otherwise, we can set aside additional time to photograph your products.
